Klaatch empowers older adults to live socially connected lives. We are evidence-based and rely on scientific and social research on both the causes of and solutions to loneliness. The Klaatch solution is focused on overcoming the barriers to connection and uses technology to create dynamic and compatible face-to-face contact. Our solution matches people into small groups close to where they live, provides them tools and facilitators to help form and maintain meaningful relationships, links the groups with local age friendly businesses and instituions in the local neighborhood or community, and support the groups to keep them dynamic and sustaining. In short, we help older adults and their families to overcome the obstacles to social isolation without stigma.
