Since our very first event we have seen thousands of deals, mentorships, investments and more start at our events, on our platforms and in our contests. But even though we helped make those things happen, we were never part of what happened next.
In 2017 we started investing in the companies that got the most started at MedStartr, and that has been great. In 2020 we started facilitating sales and business development, and that is beneficial for all. But we wanted to do more to make the magic happen, enabling our trusted MedStartr Mentor network to get involved.
While we are not exactly sure how this will work, we have built into the platform (this site) tools that allow event organizers and their trusted team members to facilitate deals. Here are a few features that help:
- A.Companies and people at your events can set up profiles that let them offer their products and services for sale. The platform gets 10% of the sale, and as an organizer you can get 2/3 of that.
- B.Engagement on the platform (connections, likes, follows, ...) is visible, and as the event organizer you can message all parties and help close the pilot, partnership or sale, for commissions.
- C.You can sign up sponsors and clients and promote them in your community and events using tools on the site.
- D.We can quickly build out anything you can imagine that would help. Suggest new tools and features here.
By enabling community builders and helping make that effort sustainable as independent businesses, our hope is to expand the global community of healthcare innovators and help drive improvement in healthcare faster.
