I work in Business Development and Licensing at a mid-size global company in the diabetes space. My background is in mechanical engineering, and I worked in medical device design for 7 years within the cardiology, women's health, and orthopedics industries. Almost 5 years ago, I switched to Ascensia working as a technology scout where I identified targets and evaluated technology from medical device and digital health startups to assess product functionality and fit within Ascensia. Last year I transitioned to a more commercial role, still working in the same area but focused on commercial strategy alignment and contract negotiation. I am very passionate about the potential affect products developed by companies within this organization can have on healthcare, and I would love to support.
