Board certified in pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology, medical degree from the University of Southern California and is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics, completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at Stanford University Hospital and a fellowship in allergy, immunology and respiratory diseases at the Children's Hospital at Stanford. Director of the Pediatric Diagnostic Center, a pediatric multi-specialty referral clinic dedicated to treating children with every-day health problems as well as those needing specialized care. Director Of Pediatrics at the UCLA affiliated Family Medicine Residency and is Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at UCLA. In 2016 taken on the role of Strategic Director of Telehealth for the Intelligent Health Association (IHA). A global, technology based and technology focused organization comprised of many new technology communities and societies all operating under one organizational structture. Actively involved in medical diagnosis and teaching utilizing telemedicine for three decades. Funded through USDA and Blue Cross rural telemedicine grants, now oversees the local California Telehealth Network implementation and the Hospital Escuela implementation in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.Established local telemedicine teaching for the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner training program at California State University Long Beach. Is working with CHLA to establish tele-ophthalmology services. Research interests led to device development for remotely observed therapy and diagnosis with the Vivometrics LifeShirt, expanded uses of medical devices across disease states with the Hill-Rom VEST, and an increased awareness of the effects on patients and families of new therapies. The Landon Pediatric Foundation, a nonprofit corporation benefiting the health of underserved children, medical services are provided, medical education, support of recreational activities, and research leading to healthy eating and active living.
