I have been involved in clinical informatics since shortly after completing my residency in Family Medicine in 1996. Presently, In my current role as Vice President of Terminology Management at Intelligent Medical Objects, my responsibilities include product strategy. partner engagement, and managing the team responsible for terminology content development. I continue to practice medicine and to teach at the University of Washington.
Specialties: I am experienced in the design and implementation of, and training in the use of, electronic health records and related technologies. My particular interests within clinical informatics are in data modeling, interoperability, user interface design, and clinical decision support.
