I'm enthusiastic about Human Psychology, Qualitative Research Methods, Bioethics and Effective Altruism (EA).
I have experience working toward protecting and promoting psychological mental health and well-being. I am increasingly concerned about global issues that contribute to poor health e.g. poverty and climate change and I am motivated by the concept of Universal Basic Income. I have recently taken the 'Try Giving Pledge' and currently donate 1% of my disposable income to GiveDirectly. Socially important topics of interest include feminism, breast-feeding, plant based diets and maintaining bodily integrity (e.g. FGM/C, circumcision and cosmetic surgery).
I am a skilled interviewer, confident public speaker and group facilitator. I am highly practiced at managing group dynamics. I am reflective, committed and resourceful.
Bioethics and EA fit with my core moral values of fairness and equality. I am excited about doing the most good I can with my time, intellect and talent.
