I am a clinical research professional currently working as a Clinical Research Coordinator supporting cardiology and healthcare-related clinical trials. In this role I work closely with physicians, sponsors, and patients to help conduct regulated clinical studies that evaluate new therapies and medical technologies. My work involves coordinating study operations, supporting patient recruitment and follow-up, maintaining regulatory documentation, and helping ensure that trials are conducted according to clinical research and ethical standards. Through this experience I have developed a strong understanding of how clinical research organizations, hospitals, sponsors, and investigators interact within the broader clinical trial ecosystem. Working directly with research teams and patients has given me insight into the operational challenges that sites face, including study startup, enrollment, and the complex logistics required to run successful trials. I am particularly interested in how data, technology, and transparency can improve the clinical research landscape. Much of the information about research activity exists in public datasets but is often difficult to navigate or interpret without significant effort. I enjoy exploring ways that technology can organize and present complex information in ways that make it more accessible and useful for researchers, healthcare professionals, and others interested in the development of new therapies. More broadly, I am interested in the intersection of healthcare, data infrastructure, and entrepreneurship. I believe that improving how information flows across the clinical research ecosystem can help support better collaboration, faster innovation, and more efficient development of new treatments that ultimately benefit patients.
