A scientist by trade, I am always asking questions, looking for connections and asking why. I have been enmeshed in emerging start-ups and ready-to-grow companies for the bulk of my career and have generated and lead countless new product, brand and company launches.

I have been lucky enough to always land in the mix helping to formulate new ways of thinking and helping to guide the tipping-point idea. In every company I entered my presence has always been a vital enough force to be coveted and invested in. And because of this, I am grateful to have spent the better part of my career mentoring highly collaborative teams and empowering future leaders.

And as a connector that has dedicated decades to curating consortia and vetted networks in highly competitive commercial markets, I have had the great privilege to work with some of the most fascinating and influential people, governments, think tanks and esteemed academic institutions. I am a product champion who seeks out excellence. I can't help myself. It must be hard-wired in my DNA.

Also encoded in my DNA is a bit of a rebel rouser. I am very keen on shaking things up and questioning preconceived notions. I want, need really, to be on the good side of the good fight. As part of this, I believe in creating a working environment in which people can do their best work; are appreciated and empowered. As a single mother by choice, I am a natural advocate for workplace transformation and have extensive personal experience working and leading teams in progressive, flexible and remote workplace environments including the development and roll out of company-wide policies and procedures.
