I have been at the University of Notre Dame since 2011, when I was recruited to create and then become the inagural Director of the MS in Patent Law. The MS in Patent Law suspended operation in May of 2016, and I have since joined our Office of Technology Transfer, where I once again practice patent law.
Additionally, I am a co-founder of two companies. In each case, I have provided strategic market and patent advice (as well as writing one or more patent applications) for the company.
In Fall 2016, I became half of Notre Dame's second-ever Faculty-in-Residence couple. My husband John and I live in Dunne Hall (the new men's residence hall), and provide advice and support to 221 male undergraduates. We are a part of their community, with our own apartment in the building; we eat in the dining halls with them; we attend Mass in the chapel together.
