Making health information move with the workflow — interoperable, AI-capable, innovative, and financially rigorous

About
I’m Katie Goulette, Executive Director of GRAChIE and EVP of Operations at Velatura. I lead quality, clinical operations, and interoperability across multi-state health information exchanges serving thousands of providers. My work started at the point of care — hospital units, practices, home health, and hospice — and still runs that way. I focus on making health information move with the workflow: interoperable at the moment of care, automated where it reduces burden, and structured so it is AI-capable without breaking clinical or financial reality. I own P&L and total cost of ownership, grow networks through executive partnership, and set interoperability strategy against federal requirements. Earlier I advised national technology and clinical informatics leadership at one of the largest faith based health systems across 2,600+ sites in 19 states, co-chaired a $5M+ pay-for-performance program, directed a $2M+ shared-savings payer initiative, and co-led an Event Notification community of practice across 145 hospitals. I’m also an accountant by training. Innovation has to perform in the workflow and on the P&L — and the teams that deliver it should outlast the program.
