Kim founded Vivante Health in 2016, a new company with a new vision and product that focuses on invisible, neglected, and stigmatized diseases. The first product is on digestive diseases which affect 70M Americans.

Prior to Vivante Health, Kim founded EosHealth in 2009, which is now known as Livongo Health. Livongo (EosHealth) is one of the first in digital health and is the leader in chronic care management for diabetes. Kim and his team developed the technology, supporting clinical programs, and created and built In Touch, a GSM cellular cloud-connected two way glucose meter that supports people anywhere and anytime. In Touch was cleared by the FDA in September 2014, an important milestone in a new generation of two way wireless devices that are integrated into coordinated and connected care platforms.

Prior to EosHealth and Livongo, Kim founded DiabetesAmerica in 2004, which is a network of comprehensive and interactive clinical centers that changed traditional diabetes care. DiabetesAmerica became a nationally recognized network of diabetes care centers and a model for the patient centered medical home but also for pioneering the bundled payment system. The company now serves as a model for single-service medical care for employers, health plans, and benefit consultants.

Kim also founded the MAB Generation, a platform for the development of therapeutic human monoclonal antibody targeted molecular therapies in response for cancer in collaboration with MDA Anderson Cancer Center and Valeant Pharmaceuticals.

Kim has served as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a member of the Scientific Advisory Boards of the NIH, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
