Industrious CPA who has spent the last 20 years raising my children, volunteering with people with Intellectual Disabilities, and supporting my husband, Mark A Mitchell, DO FACEP-D, FACEP's business endeavors and management career.
Prior to that my career was diverse. I started working in "Big Eight" accounting at Price Waterhouse where I wound up focusing on privately-held businesses as more of an all-around. I left to work with a client where I worked in Finance. There, I learned Aquisition Finance after a very strange trip to an ESOP. Three acquisitions in one year and I landed at United Airlines Finance for their potential merger and ESOP. When my amazing son with Down Syndrome was born my focus changed A LOT.
After an interesting dinner conversation with Mark and Alicia Avril, MS, we investigated starting a business together and "voila" Choice Customer Care was born.
