I enjoy moving toward a culture of happy productivity, using many concepts from lean and agile. Many traits converge toward this, including open communication, applying agile concepts for years, high integrity and diverse experiences in many industries. Over a decade of coaching and consulting provided habits of relying on influence over authority, and providing customer value early and often. My diverse background provides unique perspectives and insights, often different from those in long-held roles.
I earned an MS in Computer Science from Clemson's strong program. I earned an MBA from Duke (after which I was honored with Fuqua’s Distinguished Service Award). I'm a distance runner which I find to strengthen habits of goal setting, efficient use of resources, strategy, gritting through rough spots, and high persistence toward goals: I've Qualified for, and ran the Boston Marathon eight consecutive years, starting in 2009.
