This is MeAbout
Hello everyone, my name is Nicolas Yerace, and I'm an undergraduate student at UC Davis who's research has a strong emphasis on amphetamine and dexamethasone usage in high altitude mountaineering. Immediate questions that come to mind include "how do amphetamines affect red blood cell counts above the death zone?", or perhaps "is drug usage at altitude more premeditative rather than responsive?" However, the piece of information I seek to gather to further understand the area of research is a urine analysis of mountaineers at both Everest Base Camp and Manaslu Base Camp--the two most crowded BC's in Nepal. I plan to publicize accurate, citable information which can later be used in follow up investigations in order to better understand the limitations and capabilities of the human body.
