He currently serves as Director of Growth Marketing and Branding at Potrero Medical, a predictive health company that is developing the next generation of smart sensors and artificial intelligence.
In his spare time, he enjoys teaching, mentoring young professionals, and donating his marketing expertise to non-profits.
Omar is the marketing advisor for one of the world's top PechaKucha organizations, PK Orlando, a nonprofit that hosts a quarterly event where speakers present on various topics. Omar has helped the organization increase revenue by moving into the city's largest concert halls and using digital marketing to sell hundreds of tickets per show, making the event expand to two shows a night.
