Patrick J. Flynn is the Chair of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, and holds the Duda Family Professorship in the College of Engineering and a concurrent faculty position in the Department of Electrical Engineering. He received the Ph.D. in Computer Science in 1990 from Michigan State University. He has held faculty positions at Notre Dame, WashingtonrnState University, and The Ohio State University. His researchrninterests include computer vision, biometrics, and image processing.
