Currently Of Counsel to the New York office of a highly-regarded corporate and securities firm, where I lead the Equity Crowdfunding practice group. Additionally, I serve as Managing Partner and General Counsel of two small businesses.
Prior to my legal career, I was heavily involved in entrepreneurship, business consulting and education, all of which serve as an asset in my current position. For the past ten years, I have independently consulted numerous business ventures, helping them launch and grow by drafting and assisting with the implementation of investor-ready business plans, proposals and marketing plans. Additionally, I advise on investor relations, negotiation and networking strategies and have built a strong network in the startup and small business community. Naturally, my academic legal career was highly business oriented, focusing primarily on US and transnational/comparative securities, tax and business law. I hold a Certificate in International Law. Having a strong background in both law and entrepreneurship enables me to bring a comprehensive, well-informed perspective from both a business and legal viewpoint when representing clients.
