A 23+ year veteran of the pharma/biotech industry, almost exclusively in specialty and / or bio-tech arena. He has strategically built his career to cover the critical areas of sales, marketing, regulatory approval, new product launch, sales force design and managed care (including provider reimbursement, public/private payer policy, and specialty pharmacy). Prior to joining Genentech in 2004, Scott worked at Bristol Myers Squibb and Eli Lilly & Company. His initial responsibility @ Genentech was home office based as the Avastin lead for that product’s second FDA approval in non-small cell lung cancer. In this role, Scott was accountable for all strategy and implementation facets of the launch. Scott is a graduate of the University of TN and lives in Knoxville, TN
