About

I am a U.S. trained physician-entrepreneur with 10 years of clinical experience in my surgical specialty who has transitioned away from patient care to full-time technology industry. I currently provide professional 3D medical modeling and 3D printing services to my medical, surgical, and radiology colleagues as well as consultation services to set up healthcare focused 3D printing centers and rapid prototyping of medical devices.

After successfully completing my residency in otolaryngology at UT Southwestern in Dallas, I have served as chief of Ear, Nose & Throat services for post-Katrina New Orleans charity system, Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at LSU Medical School, and ENT provider for Indian Health Service. I have also served as instructor of Human Anatomy at UT Southwestern Medical School as well as teaching and research assistant in Organic Chemistry at my alma mater Rice University. More recently I am self-taught in a few modern programming languages including Ruby, Python, and Clojure.

I am currently interested in pursuing my career in healthcare related technologies such as medical modeling, additive manufacturing, endoscopy, and surgical robotics. My dream career destination is Vancouver, BC or else an opportunity that allows plenty of professional international travel.
