Wayne Nix ~CEO of RNVENTION.

We formed RNvention to inspire clinicians working on the frontlines of healthcare , to provide them with guides and templates or as some call have called it, innovation competencies.

Our goal is to empower through education and to assist those who are in search of commercialization pathways for products. Oh, did I mention we have our own products in the works?

We are Wayne and Dawn Nix, married registered nurses, and we co-founded RNVENTION from our personal needs and experience in 2014.

As nurses, we know the frontlines of healthcare are ripe with creative solutions. Some have the potential for commercialization. What is lacking, however, is "how do you start? Whom do you trust? Where do you go if you have an idea? Is it any good?

We encourage "intrapreneurship" within hospital systems as innovation is a "LONG" and risky road. However, we know that successful implementation and networks can ultimately build products and processes that yield a more efficient healthcare.

To prove innovation can be “templated" we have spent the last 4 years prototyping and recently received venture capital investment to launch our first product the MultiNix Utility Tool. Available for the public at the beginning of year 2018 (baring no manufacturing delays - just saying - it's always a challenge for small runs).

MultiNix Tool is the first multi-purpose tool developed and designed specifically for frontline nurses. The patent pending multifunctional capabilities free the nurse from “hunting and gathering” tools required to perform optimum patient care, yielding the ability to improve efficiency, clinical outcomes and increase customer satisfaction.
