In October 2019, Dr. Dexter Galban served as a judge while Von Payumo competed in Impact Hackathon, the world’s largest multi-city hackathon. This chance encounter became the catalyst for the founding of Alaga Health. Sharing the goal of providing patients with the power to choose where, when, and how they access health services, Bon Dela Cruz and Dr. Via Roderos joined the social enterprise to further harmonize health, business, design, and technology development. Incorporated in the Philippines on December 2020, Alaga Health continues to create innovative systems, integrated platforms, and mobile & web applications that make health care available anytime, anywhere, in every way.
