Flometrica develops disposable, personalized, home-use, or point-of-care urine analyzers that are accurate and cost effective. Flometrica's technology eliminates the need for devices that require office space and professional staff to operate and maintain. Its products are small, disposable, and can be used by patients themselves anywhere and at any time. As a result, patient diagnostics improve significantly, and a more accurate clinical evaluation can be provided to physicians. Flometrica's urine analysis technology is based on an ergonomic container coupled with urine sensors. The sensors are connected to a USB micro-controller, which records the data. The data is then decrypted by Flometrica's signal-processing analysis software. The company's first product, Florite, is a disposable urine flow meter device for 24-hour measurement of flow rate, voiding time, and voiding quantity, with a graphical user interface on a smartphone/tablet. The company is also developing DiaryRite, a disposable voiding diary and flow meter device for 72-hour measurement of flow rate, voiding time, and voiding quantity, with online monitoring for urine secretion and liquid intake and a graphical user interface on a smartphone/tablet.
