OTTAA Project is an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) system designed for individuals with speech impairments. It is a mobile, fast, and effective communication tool that enables users to build sentences using thousands of pictograms—visual representations of actions, objects, and concepts. By leveraging smartphone data such as calendar events, location, and time, the system uses a predictive algorithm to contextualize communication and display the most relevant pictograms in real-time. The app allows users to speak their messages aloud via voice output or share them through social media. Additionally, it includes educational games to help users learn vocabulary and communication skills. OTTAA Project aims to improve the quality of life and enhance social and professional integration for people with communication disabilities.
