BoneArc
RTM billing, home exercise and recovery software for MSK practices.
San Antonio, Texas, United States
BoneArc brings home exercise programs, recovery protocols, patient check-ins, outcomes tracking and clinician-reviewed RTM billing workflows into one platform for MSK practices. The practice owns the care plan and clinical decisions. The patient app keeps assigned care easy to follow between visits. A local care marketplace is in development; public patient search and booking are coming soon.
BoneArc gives orthopedic and physical therapy teams tools to assign home exercises, manage care protocols, and follow up with patients. We are building a marketplace to connect finding a participating practice and booking an appointment with the clinician-assigned care plan. The marketplace is coming soon; public patient search and booking are not open.

Trailhead Physical Therapy — protocol-to-billing pilot
Published BoneArc pilot summary: Trailhead used its own protocol, patients recorded activity, and the clinician reviewed and certified the month before a billing export. This documents workflow and service activity, not payer payment or clinical outcomes. Full case study: https://bonearc.com/stories/trailhead-physical-therapy/

Problem Statement
Recovery happens between appointments, but care plans, patient activity, clinical follow-up and billing evidence often sit in separate systems. Practices need a clear record of what patients were assigned, what happened at home and what the clinician reviewed.
Core Technology
Native iOS patient app and web provider portal with home exercise and protocol assignment, patient check-ins, outcomes tracking, RTM activity documentation, clinician review and billing exports. FHIR connectivity and practice-system integrations are being developed and validated; availability depends on the specific system.
Key Differentiators
Practices keep their own protocols and clinical control. Patient recovery activity connects to clinician-reviewed documentation and billing handoff in one workflow. BoneArc serves orthopedic and rehabilitation care, with a marketplace being developed as an additional route into the same care plan. BoneArc supplies software; it does not supply treating therapists or replace the treating practice.
Clinical Focus
Musculoskeletal care, orthopedics, physical therapy, occupational therapy, pain medicine, podiatry and postoperative recovery.
Target Customers
Independent practices and practice groups in orthopedics, physical therapy, occupational therapy, pain medicine and podiatry.

Clinical Validation
A Trailhead Physical Therapy pilot documented the path from a practice-authored protocol through patient activity and clinician review to a billing export. It did not establish payer payment or clinical outcomes. Case study: https://bonearc.com/stories/trailhead-physical-therapy/

A HUGE part of what early stage companies, and even late stage ones, need and get on MedStartr is honest feedback from actual patients, clinicians, hospital leaders and industry insiders. It is very easy to get tunnel vision as a founder. Please tell the team that runs this company what you think.
