Scientist & Engineer specialized in translating technical research across the health and technology domains into accessible language and applied strategies. With the sum of human knowledge just a Google search away, it's sad how hard it can be to determine scientific truth. I have spent the last few years fighting misinformation and helping people to understand the latest science on how best to stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic–both through personal decision-making and environmental design. This is but the latest expression of my overall life's mission: to help people apply the latest science to live safer, healthier lives. Over the last decade, I've designed QC protocols for medical devices, consulted with startups and venture capital firms, and launched biotech companies. My role has been to rapidly synthesize and evaluate scientific information from disparate fields, for interesting new results. I am now working with companies to develop strategies based on the best available scientific evidence to help them optimize the health and well-being of both their employees and their customers. I write and film content that aims to synthesize scientific research and make it accessible and actionable for the general public.
