Hello Healthcare Innovation Enthusiasts, Innovators, Partners, Leaders and Investors!
It was great to see many of you at the 4 events and conferences we went to last week in NYC and Boston and we look forward to seeing you at JPM, CES,... next month. We are hard at work setting up our next Crowd-Challenge on a new and improved MedStartr.com platform to help us join together to improve healthcare faster. The phone has been ringing and we are talking to stategics from industry and governments who know that the time is now to improve outcomes while reducing costs faster in healthcare and we could not be more pleased. We have been doing our best to help with our events, platforms, funds, acceleration programs, strategic advisement, business development and now full-on turnaround programs for startups since 2010. While over 157 large organizations have gotten behind our programs from the AMA to Zocdoc sponsoring events, challenges and partnering with the winners, this seems like a moment when real change can happen faster. We also have seen over 10,000 new ways to do care that hit the Quadruple Aim, SDoH, Transparency, Data Access, Participatoryness, Equity and more like a ton of bricks. And that's what they are, bricks of an innovation-friendly healthcare system that takes better care of people for less. We can build it together, but it's going to take all of us and a lot of bricks and mortar too.
Nothing is sadder that what happened here in New York the other day but we all understand how that young man felt. Like he had no other options. He went into despair. And when you feel despair, you don't see other ways to go and this is what happens. This tragedy was what happens when there is no hope.
But there is hope. Hope and passion drive people to create new and better ways. And we want to help get these people and their ideas in front of the people who are also hopeful of a better way. And by "the people" I mean you... and everyone you know who wants to be part of the solution. So please spread the word about the things you see here. When there is an innovation challenge, if you know anyone working on something that can make healthcare work better, forward this email to them. Show up at the events and pass them on to others because when you connect, you will more likely collaborate, and together, we can create the future of care. Follow us on all the platforms and repost the message or comment - not just for us, but for the myriad folks out there also helping make change happen. Together we can do this. Together, there is hope for healthcare.
