The ADAPT project aims to develop a technological solution for smart fitting of prostheses that reduces adjustment time and improves patient acceptance and comfort, through 3D modeling, sensing and acquisition of dynamic patient data, something innovative in the sector. This solution will allow mapping the unique profile of pressures and temperatures on the internal surface of the prosthesis, which allows the exact location of improvement points and, eventually, suggest the necessary changes. 3D scanning technology is advancing rapidly and has seen rapid acceptance and application in the medical sector, but in contrast to direct competition, Adapttech is the only one to propose a solution that combines a 3D model with dynamic data. With this project, Adapttech intends to develop an innovative solution to help people overcome their physical limitations and increase their quality of life.
