Alvie's (fka Onko) mission is to coach people and provide convenient access to expert support through life’s most challenging health events so they can live well and recover better. Traditional healthcare is well-practised at diagnosing and treating medical conditions, but often overlooks the wellbeing and general health needs of an individual. For people living with challenging health conditions, their needs are much broader than the treatment alone. Patients often feel uncertainty about what to do for the best and more importantly, where to turn for support. This is compounded by the fact that three quarters of adults have poor underlying health - this not only limits treatment options but leads to longer recovery and a poorer quality of life.
