Brave prevents overdose death through technology and community. It is a multi-stakeholder cooperative based in Vancouver, BC working with community organisations, municipalities, and companies across North America to combat the opioid epidemic and reduce harm in their communities. Our suite of tools and technologies ensure that no-one has to be truly alone when they are using drugs - this means safer supervised consumption and activation of community-response in the event of an overdose. As a cooperative, Brave is owned and governed by its members, who include users of the technology, staff, and investors. We believe in meeting people where they are at and developing our products collaboratively with the people we are serving.
