We calculate body composition and caloric burn rate data for our customers and partners using 2 patens and the camera on a smart device.In some populations, BMI and body fat percentages were providing contradictory health information, especially in athletes, fit populations and people that tended to be of slighter builds. Athletes and fit individuals were registering as obese on the BMI scale but were in fact highly fit or with-in the healthy range posting body fat levels of 7% to 14% for men and 15% to 22% for women.Individuals on the smaller side were registering as normal or healthy on the BMI scale but in fact were obese once their respective body fat percentages were determined. NASA solved this problem with an elegant equation and specific user demographics. As a result, cBMI provides both BMI and body fat percentage data for users. cBMI is the most accurate calculator of BMI on the planet.
