Our kids spend too much time inside and in front of the screen; they watch TV, surf the Internet, play video games. Less and less time is spent on outdoor sports and playing, where physical moving and social contacts are key elements. Lack of physical exercise can lead to serious consequences later in life, such as obesity, as the patterns for a healthy life are established at a young age. Numerous studies have shown that moving and exercise are beneficial for children. Physical activities have been found to have a positive impact on children´s health, body and fitness, and in the long run, also on physical, mental and socioeconomic well-being. Furthermore, it has been found that especially playing and moving that is taking place outdoors is particularly beneficial. We use modern technology to move children in creative new ways, enjoying outdoor fun and social interaction.
