MEIKAsia is a revolutionary and highly advanced early breast cancer detection device based on the principles of Electro Impedance Tomography (EIT). There is proven scientific evidence that every single tissue type in the breast has a different electrical conductivity profile, for example, regular cancer tissues are 10 to 60 times more conductive than other tissue types. This variation in electrical conductivity profiles of the different tissue types is exploited in MEIK to develop micro classification capabilities to detect the different abnormalities that occur in female breasts including cancer. MEIK is the first of a kind device which uses advanced digital imaging reconstruction algorithms to identify, locate and size different female breast abnormalities such as malignant tumours, benign cysts, fibroadenomas, etc. irrespective of the physical condition of women.
