NeuroSonic is a remote stroke risk monitoring platform that helps prevent strokes. The system is designed to create a patient-specific model of stroke risk, thereby enabling rapid treatment and prevention of this adverse cardiovascular event. This is done by systematically assessing the level of plaque buildup inside the carotid arteries - non-invasively, from the patient's home. By placing a NeuroSonic device on the patient's neck (connected via a mobile app), the level of plaque accumulation is assessed. The ML algorithm then predicts the progression of plaque accumulation and directs the patient to treatment, if necessary - even before a stroke occurs.
