Newsenselab

Berlin, Germany

The Berlin health startup Newsenselab GmbH has developed M-sense Migraine, the first digital health application (DiGA) against migraines, which can be prescribed by doctors as an app on prescription and is subject to the highest safety standards. The app has been tested by the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) and has been reimbursed by all statutory health insurers since mid-December 2020 as part of the Digital Supply Act (DVG). M-sense Migraine combines a variety of non-drug therapy methods from clinical practice, based on the guidelines of modern migraine treatment - personalized, motivating and always available. The aim of the DiGA is to offer a personalized therapy to reduce attacks by analyzing the individual pain pattern. Newsenselab also conducts clinical studies with partners such as the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the University Clinics Halle and Rostock to examine the effectiveness of DiGAs in the treatment of chronic diseases. The first results of the migraine study EMMA, one of the first clinical studies to take place entirely online, will be published in 2022.

A HUGE part of what early stage companies, and even late stage ones, need and get on MedStartr is honest feedback from actual patients, clinicians, hospital leaders and industry insiders. It is very easy to get tunnel vision as a founder. Please tell the team that runs this company what you think.
