We are Vita Innovations - a new biomedical innovation startup founded by recent Cornell graduates with a passion for health equity and innovation. Our goal is to create a smart mask that monitors patient vitals to combat ER overcrowding while preventing the transmission of airborne disease. Our project began as simply an idea that won the grand prize at the 7th annual AI Health Hackathon in NYC, and has grown into a MedTech startup that has since been accepted into a number of accelerators and startup programs including the NSF iCorps, CGI U, Blackstone Launchpad, CNY Biotech Accelerator, and LaunchNY. We are the 1st place winners of Business Today's 46th International Impact Challenge, Cornell's 2020 eLab Kickoff, the 2021 Verizon + CGI U Final Pitch Showcase (co-winners), and have further been named the 2021 Cornell Student Business of the Year.
