Volta Labs is a bioautomation company developing disruptive solutions to streamline the upstream workflows in genomic sequencing. Volta is building a sequencer agnostic platform for sample preparation. We are reinventing the full-stack – hardware, software, chemistry, and biology – to create a simple and flexible platform spanning applications in sample preparation and beyond. The company was founded in 2018 by CEO Udayan Umapathi and later added Will Langford, Head of Engineering, as co-founder of Volta Labs.
